Colorado’s aerospace industry took center stage at the annual Space Symposium on Thursdsay, April 19th in Colorado Springs. Hundreds of space industry professionals gathered for a week from all over the world. Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper joined them Thursday, to sign a bill that could pave the way for Colorado to build its own spaceport. All this is happening as America’s space program is at a crossroads.

Colorado Public Radio’s Judith Smelser spoke with Vicky Lea of the Colorado Space Coalition and NLSI’s LUNAR PI Jack Burns about how the state fits into the new aerospace landscape.
