Colorado’s aerospace industry took center stage at the annual Space Symposium on Thursdsay, April 19th in Colorado Springs. Hundreds of space industry professionals gathered for a week from all over the world. Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper joined them Thursday, to sign a bill that could pave the way for Colorado to build its own spaceport. Colorado Public Radio’s Judith Smelser spoke with Vicky Lea of the Colorado Space Coalition and NLSI’s LUNAR PI Jack Burns about how the state fits into the new aerospace landscape.
