JAXA has announced that all lunar data (movies) captured by the HDTV camera onboard Kaguya (SELENE) are now online.

Visit JAXA’s (ISAS’) DARTS data archive system at http://www.darts.isas.jaxa.jp

Proceed to the article link and you will jump to the top page of the HDTV data archive system.

You must agree to the ‘Terms of Use’ to proceed to the archives.

Click the “HDTV Data Publication System” link and you will see GIS screen. After this, you can select your favorite movies based on captured date, location and data type.

As this GIS interface is built using Adobe Flash, you will need to use Flash-enabled browsers; you will not be able to use this publication system from browsers in mobile devices or other non-Flash-aware.

Note: 2007 data was the first to be made available; the remaining raw Kaguya HDTV data online will be released soon.
