The YouTube channel Dutchsteammachine recently uploaded footage from the Apollo 16 Rover Traverse to Station 4 that looks amazing.
They’ve used the source 16-mm film that the astronauts shot at 12 fps, increased the resolution to 4K, used artificial intelligence to increase the frame rate to 60 fps, color corrected the video, and synched it to the original Mission audio. The result makes it feel like you’re actually on the Moon, riding along with John and Charlie to station 4.
