NASA Study Finds Solar Storms Could Spark Soils at Moon’s Poles
Powerful solar storms can charge up the soil in frigid, permanently shadowed regions near the lunar poles.
It is colder inside some craters near the lunar poles than it is on the surface of Pluto (25K, or -415F).
