NASA-Funded Scientists Detect Water Below Moon’s Surface
Using data from NASA’s Moon Mineralogy Mapper (M3) instrument aboard the Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft, scientists remotely detected water deep within the moon’s interior.
It is colder inside some craters near the lunar poles than it is on the surface of Pluto (25K, or -415F).
