Scientists Identify Source of the Moon’s Water
Most of the water inside the Moon was delivered by asteroids (not comets) during the early evolution of the Moon, ~4.5-4.3 billion years ago.
It is colder inside some craters near the lunar poles than it is on the surface of Pluto (25K, or -415F).
