NASA-Funded Scientists Detect Water Below Moon’s Surface
Using data from NASA’s Moon Mineralogy Mapper (M3) instrument aboard the Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft, scientists remotely detected water deep within the moon’s interior.
The lunar surface is both hotter (in daytime) and colder (at night) than any place on Earth.
