March 7, 2011 @ 12:00 am PDT - March 11, 2011 @ 12:00 am PDT

The 42nd Lunar and Planetary Science Conference will be held March 7–11, 2011, at The Woodlands in Texas.

The 42nd Lunar and Planetary Science Conference will be held March 7–11, 2011, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, located at 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, Texas, just north of Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). The abstract submission and registration forms are now open.

NOTE: USRA/LPI has recently launched a new login system in our Meeting Portal. To participate in our meetings, create a personal profile using your e-mail address. Completing electronic forms — indication of interest, abstract submission, or registration — is quick and easy. The estimated time to complete the profile is four (4) minutes. You will have the opportunity to update the contact information in your personal profile at any time.

A block of rooms is available at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott at the special LPSC rate of $188.00 (a discount of 48% off the regular room rate at this property), and the hotel is now accepting reservations . We have identified a number of area hotels that have agreed to offer rooms at or below the GSA rate. More information is provided on the hotel list . Additional details are available on the LPSC website: www.lpi.usra.edu/meetings/lpsc2011/ .
